RacingLine Oil Catch Can – 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 MQB Evo

The RacingLine Oil Catch Can VWR130010 is a premium oil catch can system developed specifically for 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 MQB Evo engines.

If you drive your car dynamically, with a software upgrade, or on the track, this system is one of the most meaningful upgrades for a cleaner intake path, proper crankcase ventilation, and better long-term reliability.

The factory crankcase ventilation system returns oil vapors and moisture back to the intake system. Over time, this can lead to the accumulation of oil deposits in the intercooler, intake tracts, and intake manifold. The RacingLine Oil Catch Can separates these vapors and moisture before they return to the engine.

The system uses a large triple-baffled oil catch can with internal foam and baffling filtration to effectively collect excess moisture and oil vapors. The can itself is precisely CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating for durability and a clean OEM+ look in the engine bay.

The kit includes a replacement PCV breather plate, reinforced oil lines, necessary adapters, and a complete mounting kit. The oil catch can is positioned next to the engine mount and uses an original chassis mounting point to maintain a factory look as much as possible.

For easier maintenance, the can features a built-in dipstick for level checking and a drain plug at the bottom. For even cleaner and more convenient servicing, the RacingLine Catch Can Drain Kit can be added.

Important

• Not suitable for US-market vehicles that use an additional pressure sensor in the PCV system.
• On US-market vehicles, installation may trigger a dashboard warning and proper ECU calibration will be required.
• On Golf 8 R and some other MQB Evo models, a Remote Washer Refill Kit may be necessary if the washer fluid reservoir is located on the left side of the engine bay.
• For easier servicing, the RacingLine Catch Can Drain Kit can be added.
