Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Management
Intake air temperature is critical in turbo engines, as the air heats up:
1. from compression in the turbo
2. further in the engine itself
The APR system begins by drawing air from the coldest possible area – the front of the vehicle before the radiator. From there, the air travels a short and efficient path through a closed system that prevents hot air from being drawn in from the engine bay.
Additionally, the carbon composite construction uses a thin fibreglass backing that improves thermal insulation.

The system arrives pre-assembled by APR and is ready for installation in minutes with a minimal set of tools.
After removing the factory system, the APR intake:
