CTS TURBO Oil filter housing MQB

CTS Turbo introduces the B-Cool Billet Oil Filter Housing for the MQB platform – a premium OEM+ upgrade that solves the well-known problem of the fragile factory plastic housing.

The OEM filter housing becomes brittle over time, cracks, and can lead to leaks. The CTS B-Cool housing is manufactured in-house from billet T6061 aluminum, ensuring durability, reliability, and resistance to high temperatures.

In addition to its strength, the housing features engineered cooling fins that act as a radiator and help dissipate heat from the engine oil – especially important for Stage 1 / Stage 2 and higher configurations.

This is an original CTS Turbo design, often copied by other manufacturers who, however, cannot replicate the specific OE thread required for perfect installation.

Important during installation:

• When installing CTS-HW-0248, it is necessary to remove the central cage (filter cage) from the OEM cap and place it in the billet housing.

• The filter cage from the factory housing must be transferred before installation.

• Installation requires only basic hand tools.
