CTS TURBO Turbo Muffler Delete – GEN1 2.0T TSI (EA888.1)

CTS Turbo introduces the new High-Flow Turbo Muffler Delete for Gen1 EA888 2.0 TSI engines with stock turbos – an effective bolt-on upgrade for increased flow and improved response.

The factory turbo muffler is designed to reduce the harmonic noise from the turbo, but it also introduces a restriction in the airflow that limits performance. The CTS Turbo TMD removes this restriction and ensures smoother and freer flow from the turbo to the intercooler.

Made from cast aluminum, with precise CNC machining, this single-piece component guarantees perfect fitment, without the need for additional couplers or adapters.

Removing the factory restrictor can yield +6–7 hp, as well as significantly improved throttle response.
