CTS TURBO Turbine Blanket (Turbo Heat Shield) IS12 / IS20 / IS38

CTS Turbo heat blankets insulate the heat generated by your IHI IS12 / IS20 / IS38 turbocharger to reduce turbo lag, lower intake air temperatures, protect and extend the life of surrounding components, and provide real power gains.

By retaining exhaust heat on the "hot" side of the turbo and insulating it from the "cold" side and the intake path, more oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine. The result is more efficient combustion and more power, especially under load.

This turbo blanket is compatible with all IHI turbochargers on the MQB platform:

• IS12 – MK7 Golf 1.8 TSI and Audi A3 8V FWD

• IS20 – MK7 GTI and Audi A3 8V Quattro

• IS38 – MK7 Golf R and Audi S3 8V
