The CTS Turbo thermal blanket is designed to insulate the heat generated by your K04-0064 turbocharger, with the aim of reducing turbo lag, lower intake air temperatures, protecting surrounding components, and real power gains.
By retaining exhaust gas heat in the hot side of the turbine and insulating it from the cold side and intake tract, denser, oxygen-rich air reaches the engine. This leads to more efficient combustion, faster spool, and more stable power, especially with more aggressive tunes.
