The RacingLine Magnetic Differential Oil Plug Kit VWR180003 is an oil plug kit developed for differentials and transfer cases in VW, Audi, Cupra / SEAT, and Skoda all-wheel-drive vehicles.

This is a small but very significant preventative upgrade for Haldex AWD vehicles. The kit helps capture fine ferrous metal particles found in the differential and transfer case oil before they can continue to circulate through the lubrication system.

During normal operation of the differential and transfer case, microscopic metal wear particles are generated. The more dynamically the car is driven and the higher the power, the more important additional protection for these components becomes.

The magnetic drain plug attracts and retains fine ferrous particles in the oil, preventing them from continuing to circulate through the system. At the next service, the accumulated particles can be easily cleaned from the magnetic tip of the plug.

The kit also includes a non-magnetic filler plug, as well as 10 sealing washers, sufficient for 5 services. Since factory plugs and washers are single-use consumables, the RacingLine kit is a practical and long-term convenient solution.

The plugs are precision CNC machined from T6-6061 aerospace-grade aluminum, hand-polished, and finished with a gloss black anodized coating. The laser-engraved RacingLine logo adds a finished OEM+ look and highlights the quality of craftsmanship.

• For newer Haldex AWD vehicles, 2 kits per vehicle are required – one for the front transfer case and one for the rear differential.
• For older models like Golf 6 R, Audi S3 8P, and Golf 5 R32, only the rear differential plug fits.
