do88's Engineering Approach

The intercooler is all-aluminum and uses CAD-developed, flow-optimized cast end tanks, combined with an optimized core design. The goal is clear:

The pressure pipes are made of 2.5” mandrel-bent seamless aluminum, which provides a smooth and unobstructed air path without unnecessary restrictions.

The silicone hoses are custom-made and use 4 layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement, allowing them to withstand very high temperatures and pressures.

Important to Know

The factory intercooler is designed for the power level the car leaves the factory with. After a software upgrade – and sometimes even with very aggressive driving in a stock car – the OEM system no longer offers the necessary cooling capacity and airflow.
