⚙️ Why is a DSG oil cooler needed?

It's not just your engine that needs protection. DSG gearboxes are highly susceptible to overheating, especially during:

• High power and torque.

• Aggressive driving or track sessions.

• Driving in hot climates.

The factory cooler is easily overloaded. When the oil cannot dissipate heat quickly enough, it thins and loses its lubricating properties.
The result: the DSG starts to limit torque, lengthen shift times, and in extreme situations even loses the ability to select a gear.

🚀 How does RacingLine solve the problem?

• Adds an additional air-to-oil cooler, mounted at the front of the vehicle, directly in the airflow.

• Reduces oil temperature by 15–20°C (depending on conditions and load).

• Retains the factory cooler, adding a thermostatically controlled front cooler → double cooling, less heat transfer to the water system.

• When the oil exceeds normal temperatures, the thermostat opens, and it passes through the 10-row cooler with a large area and densely packed fins → significant temperature drop.
