RacingLine Magnetic Sump Plug – 2.0 TFSI / 2.0 TDI / 1.4 TSI / 1.5 TSI

The RacingLine Magnetic Sump Plug VWR180000 is a magnetic oil drain plug developed for VW, Audi, Cupra / SEAT, and Skoda models with 2.0 TFSI EA113, 2.0 TDI EA288, 1.4 TSI, and 1.5 TSI EA211 engines.

This is a small but very meaningful upgrade for any engine. Instead of a standard factory plug, RacingLine uses a magnetic tip that attracts and holds fine ferrous metal particles circulating in the engine oil.

Over time, microscopic metal particles from normal engine wear can appear in any oil system. If left in the oil, they continue to circulate through the lubrication system and can contribute to further wear of internal components.

The RacingLine Magnetic Sump Plug helps these particles to be captured and held on the magnetic end of the plug, rather than continuing to move through the engine. When the oil is next changed, the accumulated particles can be easily cleaned off.

The more heavily the engine is stressed, the more beneficial such protection becomes. This is especially true for dynamic driving, remapped cars, track use, or high-mileage engines.

The plug is precisely CNC machined from T6-6061 aerospace-grade aluminum, hand-polished, and anodized in a glossy black finish. The laser-etched RacingLine logo adds a finished OEM+ look, and the kit includes 5 spare washers for subsequent oil changes.

• For 2.0 TSI EA888.3 / EA888.3B, a different version is typically used: VWR180004.
• For 2.0 TSI EA888.4 and some Audi S / RS applications, a different version is used: VWR180006.
• Check the OEM number of your factory drain plug before ordering. This plug replaces applications with OEM number N90813202.
• Installation is recommended during an oil change, using a new washer with each service.
