RacingLine Oil Catch Can – Audi B9 S4 / S5 / SQ5 3.0 TFSI EA839

The RacingLine Oil Catch Can VWR131000 is a premium oil catch can system developed specifically for the Audi B9 S4, S5, and SQ5 with the 3.0 TFSI V6T EA839 engine.

The system is designed to separate excess moisture and oil vapor from the crankcase ventilation before they reach the intake system. This keeps the intercooler, intake pipes, and intake manifold cleaner in the long term.

For direct injection and turbocharged engines like the 3.0 TFSI EA839, maintaining a clean airflow path is crucial. The accumulation of oil deposits can negatively affect airflow, efficiency, and the long-term performance of the engine. RacingLine solves this problem with a comprehensive system that replaces the factory PCV block and adds a baffled oil catch can.

The kit utilizes a full replacement PCV plate, which removes the factory PCV check valve – a component known as a potential weak point. The system also includes a beautiful aluminum oil cap, adding a finished OEM+ look to the engine bay.

The oil catch can is made from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum, then CNC machined for a precise finish and coated with the unique Liquid Titanium anodized finish. This ensures durability, resistance, and a premium appearance.

The internal construction uses triple baffling, which helps effectively separate oil and moisture. Additionally, the system features two internally baffled separator outlets, reinforced hoses, and quality fittings for reliable operation during dynamic driving.

For easier maintenance, the can has a dipstick for level checking and a drain plug at the base. Optionally, a RacingLine Remote Drain Kit can be added for even quicker, cleaner, and more convenient draining.
