RacingLine Oil Catch Can – 2.0 TSI EA888.3 MQB

RacingLine Oil Management Kit & Catch Can VWR13G700 is a premium oil catch can system for 2.0 TSI EA888.3 MQB vehicles such as the Golf 7 R, Golf 7 GTI, Audi S3 8V, Leon Cupra, Octavia vRS, and other MQB models.

This is not just an ordinary oil catch can. The RacingLine system is designed to perform two important tasks: to capture oil vapor and moisture from the crankcase ventilation and to assist with oil control under severe stress, especially during track driving and heavy braking.

In EA888.3 engines, heavy braking and high longitudinal G-forces can cause oil to move to the front of the engine. This can lead to smoke, oil being drawn into the intake system, and in the worst case, a risk of oil starvation. RacingLine solves this problem with a special baffled PCV plate that helps the oil stay where it should – in the engine.

The oil catch can uses a triple baffled internal construction that effectively separates excess moisture and oil vapors. This keeps the intercooler, intake tracts, and intake manifold cleaner, and the airflow to the engine remains more stable and cleaner.

The kit comes with a direct replacement PCV breather plate, making the installation cleaner and more complete. The oil lines are 210 Series with an outer nylon braid and internal stainless steel reinforcement for maximum durability under stress.

The can is machine welded for a precise finish and coated with RacingLine's characteristic black textured powder coat. It mounts to the side of the engine mount and uses an original chassis bolt, maintaining a clean OEM+ look in the engine bay.

For easier maintenance, the oil catch can features a built-in dipstick for level checking and a drain plug at the base for draining collected fluids. For even quicker and cleaner maintenance, the RacingLine Catch Can Drain Kit can also be added.

Important

• For Golf 7 R and some early Audi S3 8V models, the washer fluid reservoir is located where the oil catch can is mounted. In these cases, the RacingLine Remote Washer Refill Kit is required.
• For the 2019 Golf GTI, a new evaporative canister with part number 5Q0133366K may be required to ensure proper fitment.
• For easier and cleaner maintenance, the RacingLine Catch Can Drain Kit can be added.
