RacingLine Sport Dampers – Sport Shock Absorbers for VW / Audi / SEAT / Skoda

RacingLine Sport Dampers are sport replacement shock absorbers developed for VW, Audi, SEAT / Cupra, and Skoda models such as Golf GTI/R, Jetta GLI, Scirocco, Audi A3, Leon Cupra, Octavia vRS, and others.

Over time, factory shock absorbers gradually lose their ability to control body movement. The car starts to feel softer, less stable, and less precise when cornering, braking, and changing direction. RacingLine Sport Dampers are designed precisely for this – to restore the feeling of a taut, confident, and well-controlled car.

These are not overly stiff track shock absorbers that make the car unpleasant for daily driving. RacingLine uses its motorsport experience to create a kit oriented towards fast road driving – with improved handling, a more stable stance, and preserved comfort.

The kit includes two front and two rear Tri-Valve shock absorbers. Tri-Valve technology uses three hydraulic valves – for compression, rebound, and main motion control – to ensure proper operation on smooth roads at high speeds, as well as on rougher surfaces.

The shock absorbers are filled with low-pressure nitrogen. This helps prevent oil foaming at high temperatures – one of the main reasons for efficiency loss in heavily loaded shock absorbers. The result is more consistent performance and a lower risk of "softening" during dynamic driving.

RacingLine Sport Dampers are designed to work excellent with both original factory springs and RacingLine Sport Springs. This makes them a great choice for refreshing a tired factory suspension, as well as for a more complete sport setup with a lower stance and improved dynamics.

What Do They Do?

Shock absorbers control the movement of the springs and body. When they are worn, the car starts to sway more, feel less precise, and lose stability when cornering or braking.

RacingLine Sport Dampers provide much better control over this movement. The car feels tighter, more connected to the road, and more confident during dynamic driving, without completely losing daily comfort.

Tri-Valve Technology

RacingLine uses a Tri-Valve design with three hydraulic valves – for compression, rebound, and main control. This allows the shock absorber to react differently depending on the piston's speed of movement and the road condition.

Spring Compatibility

Important

• The kit includes sport shock absorbers only – springs are not included.
• For the MQB version VWR30 G700, the car must have multi-link rear suspension and a 55 mm front strut.
• VWR30 G700 is not suitable for Audi S3 8V.
• VWR30 G500 is not suitable for Audi S3 8P.
• For cars with factory adaptive shock absorbers / DCC, the system will no longer have an adjustable function.
• For DCC / adaptive suspension, a suitable defeat kit is required to prevent a warning light from illuminating on the dashboard.
• It is recommended to check compatibility by model, year, rear suspension type, and front strut diameter before ordering.
• Professional geometry alignment is recommended after installation.
